Love Creek Productions has been producing off-off Theater in NYC for over 35 years, making us one of the longest running companies of its kind. We produce full length shows and evenings of one-acts.
In our one act program we produce mostly brand new plays, creating opportunities for emerging playwrights and presenting their work in full productions allowing our audience an opportunity to see the cutting edge of theater.
Our full length program include plays from Ancient Greece to new pieces. In 2017 we did plays by Christopher Durang, Inoesco, Moliere, Thorton Wilder and Lee Blessing. A little of everything, challenging our actors to work in a variety of styles and giving our audience a chance to see both classic plays in a new light and new or seldom produced plays. We help actors, playwrights and directors gain experience and grow in their craft and our audience gains a thrilling theater experience. In 2017 we did plays by Christopher Durang, Ionesco, Molière, Thornton Wilder, Lee Blessing and company founder Le Wilhelm.
Love Creek is truly a labor of love. We are staffed entirely by volunteers. Your patreonage will go into production expenses; royalties, renting performance/rehearsal space, sets, costumes and all the other little things that help bring a great show to the audience.
In 2018 we hope to produce Shakespeare's MacBeth, Blood Wedding by Lorca, many original one acts, and an brand new original full legnth play.
